Why Osprey packs
Osprey was founded in 1974 by Mike Pfotenhauer in Santa Cruz, California, and has spent decades refining how a pack carries weight.
The brand is best known for comfortable harness systems, well-ventilated back panels and hydration packs with built-in reservoirs. For work, that means water you can drink without stopping and a pack that doesn't wear you down over a long shift outdoors.
What sets our Osprey range apart
We stock Osprey for the jobs our customers do: field work, remote access, long walks to site and work in hot conditions.
We pick hydration packs and daypacks that suit carrying water and small kit on the job. If you're working out how much water to carry or which pack sits comfortably with a harness, we can talk it through.
Carrying more than water? See Caribee duffle and gear bags and LED headlamps for early starts.
How to choose the right Osprey pack for you
- Hydration pack or daypack. A hydration pack keeps a reservoir and hose handy so you drink while you work. A daypack carries more kit with a bottle on the side.
- Reservoir size. Match the capacity to the length of the job and the heat. Long shifts in summer need more than you think.
- Fit with your gear. If you wear a harness, check the pack sits comfortably with it and doesn't interfere with attachment points.
- Ventilation. A ventilated back panel makes a real difference on a hot day.
