How to choose the right 3M lanyard for you

1. Shock-absorbing or retractable. A shock-absorbing lanyard suits fixed anchor work. An SRL keeps the line taut and arrests over a shorter distance, good for more movement.
2. Fall clearance. Make sure you have enough clearance below for the lanyard to arrest the fall. SRLs suit lower clearances.
3. Single or twin. A twin-leg lanyard lets you stay connected while moving between anchor points.
4. Anchor and rating. Match the lanyard to your anchor and confirm it is rated for your setup.
