Tear Tape technology utilises a controlled tearing action when the lanyard is loaded during the fall and limits the fall arrest forces to below 6kN. It features the Velcro attach cover which provides a 100% inspection and to clean and dry the pack contents. The cover of the Skylotec BFD Single Flex Shock Absorbing Lanyard also designed to protect the label pack, conveniently sewn into the tear tape material.
