How to choose the right auto locking carabiner for you

1. Two actions or three. Twist lock (double action) is fast and secure for most work. Triple action adds a third movement for maximum protection on critical connections.
2. Material. Alloy saves weight when you carry several. Steel takes the wear at fixed and high-use points.
3. Shape and gate opening. Match the shape to what it connects and make sure the gate opens wide enough for the job.
4. Check the rating. Confirm the kN rating suits your load and the connector is certified for the role. If it has no rating, it is not for life-safety.
