The PETZL Maestro is a descender with an integrated progress capture pulley designed for technical rescue operations. It combines all the features of a pulley, rope grab and descender/belay device into one unique piece of equipment. The PETZL Maestro is designed as a single device that allows rope rescue technicians to go from lowering to raising without changing hardware. The device may be used in both the primary system or in a back-up belay and allows rescuers to adapt to any situation they may encounter on the rescue scene. The integrated progress-capture pulley is highly efficient with a large diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings. The AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope when the handle is not in use. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. Ideal for all technical rescue operations.
Features
Two models allow use with 11 mm or 13 mm rope
Sheave type: faceted, on sealed ball bearings
Maximum working load: Maestro Small 250 kg
Maximum working load: Maestro Large 280 kg
