The ISC RED is designed for use as a backup device for rope access technicians. It is rated for two-person rescue and comes in a range of configurations. The RED has a positively locking spring and operates as a self-parking device and which keeps fall factors to a minimum when used. The RED can be fitted with a 'Popper' tow cord release clip, a fixed pull cord or no pull cord at all. It has also been released with stainless side plates for harsh environments.
