Self-Braking Descender

Description

The SKYLOTEC Sirius descender is a lightweight and compact rescue descender. Designed to eliminate twisting, the rope pathway through the device has the rope coming straight out the bottom. As there is no deflection over an edge the rope no longer gets twisted when descending. The Skylotec Sirius is made completely of metal making it durable and robust. The compact design means it fits into the palm of your hand. Rated to 250kg without the need for additional friction this device is an obvious choice for rope access and rescue professionals.

• For use with Low Stretch ropes (EN 1891 type A) with diameter 10mm to 12mm.
• Working Load (Minimum: 30 kg, Single-person use: 140 kg, Rated load: 250 kg).
• Certified to ANSI Z359.4:2013, EN 341:2011/2A and EN 12841-C:2006
