The ROCK EXOTICA RockD Auto-Lock Carabiner with Lanyard Pin has a classic D shape that helps to provide an impressive 30kn strength rating. The Rock Exotica Auto Lock mechanism operates different from most triple action mechanisms as it requires a down, then twist and open, rather than up twist and open like many others.

The ROCK EXOTICA RockD Auto-Lock Carabiner with Lanyard Pin is equipped with an easily removable captive pin to enable to you install and remove from sewn lanyards and slings. The Lanyard Pin keeps the connector in the correct orientation so to prevent incorrect loading. Unlike most captive pin style carabiners the Rock Exotica RockD Lanyard pin uses a 2mm grub screw to secure the pin in place, rather the traditional hammer in style pin that most employ.
